We're so happy you stopped by. I'm Rachelle, the one who mixes things together, and the fluffy one is Headmaster Haku, the one that supervises and examines the creations.
how it began
I grew up with eczema. This meant dry, itchy, irritated skin throughout my childhood. It led to obsessively purchasing multiple bottles of lotion, tubes of lip balm, and other moisturizers every year. Restocks occurred frequently to make sure I had one in every bag, car, bathroom, nightstand... everywhere.
There was always one nearby with spares to share. I tried all sorts of products on the market. Not to mention the harsh steroid creams as well. Unfortunately, the gentle products claiming to address eczema and sensitive skin were typically too greasy or contained strong synthetic fragrances.
I also grew up loving animals, especially dogs, and they've always been a huge part of my life. As I got older, it occurred to me - certain skincare products I was using could be harmful to my dog if their nosey paws got a hold of it. And that made me realize there are myriad skincare & makeup products out there that are not pet-friendly.
The delicate nature of our pets' skin and nose requires products to be even more gentle than our standards. The delicate skin and hypersensitive noses of our pets means they require products that are even more gentle than we need. With these things in mind, I began my journey towards the highest standard of gentle by creating self-care products for even the most sensitive skin and nose.
In my book, if it's safe enough for our furbabies, then it's safe enough for us.
